Before you request quotes

Water first: Most UAE farms and landscapes irrigate with groundwater or treated water, and salt and sand clog emitters fast. Give suppliers your water source and, if you have it, a salinity test, so the filters, emitters and fertiliser dosing they quote suit your water.
Registered products: Fertilisers and pest-control products sold in the UAE must be registered with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. When you request them, ask each supplier to confirm registration, and to quote the same active ingredient and concentration.
Making quotes comparable: Ask for drip line priced per metre with the emitter flow and spacing stated, and pipe with its pressure class. Pipe, drip line and shade netting in UAE sun need UV stabilisation, so ask for the warranty in years. A design-supply-install quote and a supply-only quote cannot be compared.
Plan around the season: The UAE growing season runs through the cooler months, and demand for irrigation and farm supplies rises before it. Send your request early enough for delivery and installation before planting, and ask each supplier for a lead time per item.

What your request should include
